What oil are FAT Chips cooked in?

FAT Chips are kettle-cooked by hand in 100% beef tallow. We never use seed oils. Every small batch is made in San Diego, California.

Why beef tallow instead of seed oils?

We cook in beef tallow for the clean, rich flavor and the satisfying crunch it gives our chips. It is the cooking fat we chose instead of industrial seed oils.

What are the ingredients in each flavor?

Classic: Potatoes, Beef Tallow, Sea Salt.

Salty Vin's (Salt and Vinegar): Potatoes, Beef Tallow, White Vinegar Powder (Maltodextrin, Distilled White Vinegar), Malic Acid, Sea Salt.

Gnarlapeño: Potatoes, Beef Tallow, Dried Crushed Jalapeño, Garlic Powder, Sea Salt.

BBQ: Potatoes, Beef Tallow, Smoked Paprika, Maple Sugar, Tomato Powder, Sea Salt, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Mustard Powder, Black Pepper, Cayenne.

Do FAT Chips contain gluten?

FAT Chips have no gluten ingredients. They are produced in a facility that may include trace elements of certain allergens, so if you have a severe allergy please take that into account.

Are FAT Chips vegetarian or vegan?

No. FAT Chips are not vegetarian, because they are cooked in beef tallow.

The BBQ flavor has 170mg sodium and 1g total sugars per serving.

How long do FAT Chips stay fresh, and how should I store them?

FAT Chips are best enjoyed within about two months of receiving them. Store them sealed in a cool, dry place to keep them crisp.
